She is the Darkness is one of my favorites.    Other than the first book, my absolute favorite is Dreams of Steel.    Going to wait until we have the spoiler tag installed before posting any further.

So, I just finished reading the first book. Took me a bit longer than I had anticipated but I have to say....fuggin amazing. Raven is a beast. Croaker reminds me a lot of myself. Starting book two at work as we speak.

I just finished reading TBC minutes ago...

What a read! I am so glad I have book 2, otherwise I'd be agitated with how book one ended. I am looking forward to reading Shadow Linger... I wana start right now, but I need to do some homework :/  :Troll:

If you needed to have book 2 ready you are going to DEFINATELY want book 3 ready to go when you finish book 2.

This is an often asked question:  which book to read after Book 3 -

The answer is THE SILVER SPIKE.

Good to know...

I already have book 3, hehe...

While my 11-yr-old was hunting for book #6 of the Cirque du Freak series (can't go wrong with half-vampires), I snagged TBC Book One!  Managed to read most of it on the plane back from Alabama.

Good stuff!  I'd love to see one of the early drafts before it was edited down to size.  I get the feeling there was a lot of background story/character dev that didn't make it into the first book.   Looking forward to the next one.
