holy shit...the visuals are ground breaking.     This is actually yanking my game heart strings, something that hasn't happened in a very long time.

I'll go sell some plasma to buy this one to check it out.  I've never seen anything like this.

Those siege engines just made my heart flutter.

The game looks awesome but the only problem I have with NCSoft is that they dont have a game authenticator. I have had my Aion account hacked twice. They stated that I must have a spybot, ok I doubted that I wiped the system - locked it up again, with what they recommended and passwords were gibberish and hacked again!

So until they come out with an authenticator I gaze fondly at it..

Also GW2 they are doing some really neat things in regards to shying away from the triad (tank, heal, dps) and giving the ability for everyone to heal etc.

So will see what they put out there..

FYI - I have the day off today and am bored beyond belief!

yeah that looks quite stunning... but doesn't look like actual gameplay. I wanna see a video from the players perspective with the UI ect.

Did it say it was a sandbox?

pretty sure most of that WAS the game play.    If indeed it is, you gotta admit, that's pretty damn bad ass.

I did admit it was nice... "yeah that looks quite stunning" but my point is I've seen many, many videos such as these that seem like actual gameplay (MO beta video comes to mind) but in actuality it has all been done up in high def and when you actually jump in you are unpleasantly surprised. All I'm saying is with all the camera panning and such it's hard to believe this video is the un-doctored game play.

Now a video from the user interface side of things would be much more convincing and I'm very interested in seeing one. A UI side video also shows how a character is controlled which is a big part of the "fun factor" of many games.  As a gamer I am really hoping it was the gameplay being shown, but as a gamer I am also overly skeptical to video promotions from MMO companies.

Also the one time purchase is something I can DEFINITELY dig.

I have been a long time fan of Guild Wars .. still own two copies of the original and 3 expansions...

From my experience.. 80% or more of that was gameplay footage... Guild Wars has always been top end for environment visual.. IMO ... and their cut scenes in game were done with the same engine as the players experience in game...

If they keep the model of no monthly fees.. I will be picking up GW2 ... prolly x2

and no .. this is a persistent world MMO ... but not a sandbox.

Same here. I played alot of Guild Wars and love it. I've been waiting for G2 for a very long time. Regardless if this is real game play or not I'm buying it. Guild Wars was never a disappointment for me and I'm sure G2 will be even better.

I played the hell out of GW1.  I'll be picking up a copy of GW2 most definitely.

The video looks awesome...

Exciting promises from that lady... "The Player is what matters"... Thank you. I wanted to know someone was aware of that.

Now, can they live up to all of this? It sounds like they have it figured out... but, I'm also wondering how much of it becomes instances, or "split reality"... town is saved for me, but not for you... Or do we have 5000 towns we can all save all the time and be each towns hero?

Just wondering how they want to live up to that promise.

Saw the vid...looks nice...Would have to hear in beta that the cookie cutter lvling system variation is worth my time...I REALLY don't want to go back to a game where I have to level up and grind to get to the fun parts...

Thanks for the video with gameplay footage.. about how I imagined it.. Although I don't really like how carebear the world seems. I'm guessing the pvp is going to be arena based; but can't have it all I don't guess.
